Over his career, he has obtained gross verdicts and settlements in excess of $5 million.

In addition to maximizing the recovery for the individuals and families he represents, Gino is also retained by large corporations to minimize their exposure in disputed cases. He has successfully defended cases that others thought couldn’t be won. One local judge summarized Mr. Alia’s ability as a civil trial advocate as follows: “He is an excellent advocate for his clients, an intelligent and articulate speaker and a personable, respectful attorney.”
Gino’s litigation and courtroom experience provides him with the unique ability and skill to counsel clients – both individuals and corporate – on how to avoid and resolve legal issues before they arise.
Gino has maintained a “Distinguished Rating” by Martinedale-Hubell. Prior to joining Alia, DuMez, Dunn & McTernan, S.C., Gino worked for a national law firm. He also served as a “Public Service Special Assistant District Attorney” for Milwaukee County. His lectures include “Identifying Juror Attitudes During Voir Dire” (presented to Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers) and “Anatomy of a Lawsuit” (corporate presentation).
Outside the office, Gino has been active in numerous civic, community and charitable organizations in Kenosha County. He has served as President of the Pleasant Prairie Basketball Association, Board Member and Director of Development/Operations for Red Star Soccer Club, member of United Way of Kenosha’s Community Caring Team, various St. Anne Catholic Church service ministries and as a youth basketball and soccer coach for many years.
